Experience
I enjoy tutoring math, science, and engineering subjects, which have always been my favorite subjects to learn about. I worked at my university as a math center tutor, striving to help students develop a firmer understanding of the complex concepts at play in the subject. I believe that most of our academic success is a direct result to the instructors who provide our education. To be able to make such a difference in someone's life is inspiring and gratifying. I work with students on a wide range of math subjects, including pre-calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and linear algebra. It is my belief that, regardless of the subject, the essence of tutoring is aligning your goals with the student's goals. As a tutor, I like to challenge my students, encouraging them to approach every problem analytically. I strive to improve their logical abilities, so they can think critically and solve any problem thrown their way. I believe it is essential that the student figures the problem out on their own, from how to solve it to the answer itself. My explanations are tailored to the individual's personal learning style to ensure they can be grasped. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing video games and metal music on the guitar.
